UPDATE: We’re Officially Certified for Emergency Boat Repairs During Lockdown

Critical repair and support to essential marine services: The CIPC has confirmed Nauti-Tech Suzuki’s certification for emergency boat repairs and supplies during lockdown

Nauti-Tech Suzuki is officially certified to support marine-based essential services with emergency boat repairs during the COVID-19 lockdown. 

This means that, although we not operating from our workshop during lockdown (you can reach us online or by phone only), we are on standby and able to deploy within minutes to assist any essential services with emergency repairs in the Port Elizabeth harbour and area.

EMERGENCY BOAT REPAIRS

We received official notice from the CIPC on 28 March 2020 of our status as a supply and critical repair provider to marine-based essential services still operating during SA’s 21-day lockdown between 26 March and 16 April 2020. And subsequently made ourselves available 24-hours on standby to support those marine services who are still legally operating during this time.

Note: This applies only to marine-based businesses classed as “essential services” such as the NSRI and offshore supply vessels still legally operating.

ABOUT SA’S COVID-19 LOCKDOWN

The President of South Africa announced a 21-day national lockdown from 26 March to 16 April 2020, and it is currently in effect, to stem the spread of COVID-19 in SA. Only a select number of essential services operate during this time.

Please note that we as Nauti-Tech Suzuki support the initiative and, like all Suzuki centres around the country, have closed our business premises to the public during this time.
